14th March, 2020.- All of Dolphinaris dolphinariums maintain normal operating hours in all our tours, and welcomes the community to maintain the highest level of safety and well-being for our staff, specialist, and guests.<\/p>\n

Dolphinaris is a national and international destination and certified by The American Humane Conservation program ,is required to maintain a tiered preparation and response plan for disease outbreaks, up to and including those which reach a pandemic level. This plan includes both short and long-term protocols.<\/p>\n

Rigorous cleaning and disinfection processes obeying international guidelines had been reinforced as the awareness of COVID-19 heightened.<\/p>\n

The health and well-being of our guests, staff, specialis, tand the community is a top priority, in an abundance of caution.<\/p>\n

What Dolphinaris is doing to maintain the health of our guests, specialists, staff from COVID-19, commonly known as coronaviruses?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • We continue to implement preventive measures following your recommendations a\u200b nd the suggestions of our healthcare teams.<\/li>\n
  • We are monitoring the situation closely and keeping up to date with reports and updates from the authorities.<\/li>\n
  • We adhere to the cleaning standards suggested by the authorities with important disinfection procedures.<\/li>\n
  • We have installed additional hand sanitizer stations.<\/li>\n
  • Regular employee training and reinforcement<\/li>\n
  • Defined cleaning and disinfection cycles frequent in specific areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Will Dolphinaris close or operate differently?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    So far, we are not planning any closings or changes to our service hours or any tour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Can dolphins be impacted by COVID-19?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    There are many coronaviruses affecting humans and animals, but these are different. In its current form it is a human infection with no evidence that it can be transmitted to animals.<\/p>\n

    The animals in our care and their health are our top priority.<\/p>\n

    We follow strict guidelines for their care and wellbeing, and we are closely monitoring the health authorities for any updated information on COVID-19.<\/p>\n

    To date, the authorities have not received any reports of pets or other animals becoming sick with COVID-19 and there is no evidence.<\/p>\n

    It is always a good idea to wash your hands after touching pets or other animals, regardless.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    What are you doing to protect your animals from this virus?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Dolphinaris has implemented multiple precautions against the spread of infectious disease, including heightened hygiene and sanitation procedures, continually cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched places.<\/p>\n

    It\u2019s also important to remember that there is no definitive evidence that the virus has made Dolphins or any animals ill, or been passed from people to animals.<\/p>\n

    As precautionary measures, the Secretary of Public Health and the WHO recommend:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Stay home if you are sick<\/li>\n
    • Wash your hands with soap and water frequently for at least 20seconds<\/li>\n
    • Follow proper respiratory recommendations for coughing<\/li>\n
    • Avoid close contact with people who are sick<\/li>\n
